Could you briefly introduce yourself and describe your company?
DROPLOC, construction machinery rental company, based in Ustaritz and St-Martin de Seignanx. Machine rental for professionals and private customers.
What challenges did you face before installing the geolocation system?
We wanted to keep better track of some of our rental machines. To know where they are and how they're working (to monitor days worked). Most of our competitors are equipped with this type of box.
Why did you choose to install a geolocation system on your machines?
To keep track of our fleet quickly and easily.
What benefits have you seen since the system was introduced?
We have been able to monitor certain rentals and charge extra days for unannounced use by our customers.
How has the system improved your day-to-day operations?
It has enabled us to prove certain uses to our customers and thus justify our invoicing. It also enables us to limit abuse by customers who have been informed of the system installed on our machines.

For us, it's more a control tool than a customer satisfaction tool.
